SkyScanner Mini unveiled

SkyScanner today announces the launch of SkyScanner Mini, a fully functioning flight search engine that delivers a search from your company’s website, providing your users with cheap flight price and availability information in seconds.

Powered by SkyScanner technology, this free-to-use version of the award-winning flight search engine is designed to offer all websites a tailored SkyScanner service for customers.  Tourist Boards, sports travel companies, leisure portals, stag and hen organisers, networking sites and tour operators which don’t currently offer flights will all benefit from a quick and easy flight search for their customers.

“With SkyScanner Mini on your homepage, users will stay and conduct their flight search once they have completed their booking, giving your site a greater retention and help increase repeat visitors.” Says Barry Smith, Director and Co-founder of SkyScanner. “In three simple steps, companies can integrate SkyScanner Mini in a matter of minutes, tailoring colour, font, size and structure to suit existing branding and style.”

Websites have recently been trialling SkyScanner Mini technology.

“We are delighted to have added new functionality from SkyScanner to our site which is proving to be really useful for skiers all over the world” says Tom Williams from online ski equipment booking resource, www.snowrental.net.  He adds “Now our customers can not only use our site to book their ski hire, read ski resort information, book hotels and accommodation but they can now also find cheap flights to airports handy for the ski resort they have chosen.”

Dan Sharp from Playaway Weekends adds “The flight search sits perfectly on our homepage, and as we have been able to tailor the look and feel of the search engine, it looks like it really belongs.  Customers are also staying longer on the site and are benefiting from being able to package their stag and hen weekends with cheap flights to Europe without having to trawl the rest of the internet.”
