InterConti Geneve opens Day Spa

As part of a 20 million euros refurbishment project, the InterContinental Geneve has a blissful new addition, a Clarins Institute & Day Spa. The opening of the new spa is a segment of the massive
renovations the InterContinental Geneve has completed, refurbishing the hotel’s exterior
and all public and meeting space, entirely redesigned by famed New York-based
designed Tony Chi.

The 2,370 square-foot Clarins Institute & Day Spa is situated on the second floor of the
hotel and promises to be a haven of peace and tranquility, providing guests - both
corporate and leisure travelers - with a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of
everyday life.  The spa is the perfect place to relax and re-energize, providing a calm,
serene atmosphere and that exudes natural materials, soft music and offers stunning
views over the Mont Blanc with all areas opening out onto a peaceful terrace.

With its five treatment rooms - including one room especially for couples - and one
balneotherapy suite, the new addition to this iconic city hotel offers a pampering and
comprehensive Clarins treatment menu to rejuvenate and revitalize. Sublime treatments
for both women and men include body wraps, massages, scrubs, balneotherapy, stone
therapies, a selection of massages and lymphatic drainage.  The new spa also features a
hammam and sauna for clients to relax in before or after a treatment.

Exclusive to the InterContinental Geneve are the following treatments:

? Energy Massages: Clarins’ energy massages take their
inspiration from the Indian and Thai Ayurvedic traditions as well
as the Chinese tradition of Tuina massage.  The objective is to
prevent and eliminate energy blockings, maintaining vitality,
intense relaxation and wellbeing both for body and mind.  The
five energy massages are:

o ‘The Return to the Earth’ - traditional Thai massage
focusing on feet and legs (50 minutes)

o ‘Wide-Open Heaven’ - traditional Chinese massage
focusing on the face, cranium & nape of the neck (50
minutes)

o ‘The Three Blessings’ - blend of Ayurvedic, Thai & Chinese
focusing on the feet, hands & face (75 minutes)

o ‘Between Earth and Heaven’ - blend of Ayurvedic, Thai &
Chinese from feet to the head (120 minutes)

o ‘Rebirth’ - a series of energetic massages alternated with
Clarins treatments (240 minutes)

? Anti-Jetlag Treatment: Designed to eliminate fatigue, combat
dehydration and re-energize tired legs following airline travel.
The session starts with a lymphatic drainage, performed with the
aid of essential oils and a lightweight, ultra-moisturizing body
balm, leaving legs feeling light and ultra-refreshed.  In addition,
the face is gently exfoliated and deeply moisturized, soothing
and alleviating the effects of jetlag.

? After-Sun Replenishing Treatment: This gentle face and body
treatment alleviates redness and deeply moisturizes dehydrated
skins, soothing and restoring radiance to a natural tan and
healthy-looking glow.

Guest room rates at the InterContinental Geneve begin at 330 Swiss Francs
(approximately $264 USD) per room per night staying in a Standard Room on a room-
only basis.
