Fresh CEO for Gulf Air

Gulf Air President and Chief Executive James Hogan will complete his tenure with Gulf Air on 30 September 2006.

From 1 October 2006, Gulf Air Vice President Finance Ahmed Al Hammadi will take over as the airline’s Acting President and Chief Executive.

“Ahmed will take over this role while we finalise our recruitment process for a permanent appointment. We are reviewing external as well as internal candidates for this position and we expect to finalise this shortly,” says Gulf Air Chairman Abdul Aziz Jassim Kanoo.

“I thank James for his vision and drive over the last four years and wish him well for the future.”

Gulf Air was nominated as Middle East’s Leading Airline Alliance at this year’s World Travel Awards.
