Virgin inks Jumeirah deal

Virgin Atlantic has announced that Jumeirah has joined the Flying Club as an earning partner effective from 01 September 2006.  Flying Club members can earn 1 Flying Club mile per 1 USD spent at the participating hotels on accommodation and any food and beverages charged to the hotel bill.  Each Jumeirah Hotel is uniquely individual, offering their members the luxury of personal space in the world’s most distinctive locations.

Alan Lias, Head of Loyalty for Virgin Atlantic commented:

“I am delighted that we are able to offer our Flying Club members the opportunity to earn miles at such fantastic locations where the service is second to none.

“With leading edge properties in three of our main hubs we are pleased to be associated with such a renowned name and to give even more reason for our passengers to become Flying Club members and even more rewards for those that are part of the scheme.”

As a member of Flying Club, passengers who fly with Virgin Atlantic, even on the lowest Economy fare, will earn Flying Club miles, which can then be spent on a host of wonderful rewards.  Passengers can also earn miles with our Flying Club partners, which include other airlines, hotels, restaurants and a range of companies around the world.  Passengers will join the programme as a Flying Club Red member with an online account, where they can check their mileage balance, statements and much more.
