Her first Human Resources experience started in California in 1993 with one of the top five star hotels in Beverly Hills where she assisted as Payroll Administrator for over three years.
Magdalani continued her Human Resource profession in Kuwait and in 1996 relocated to Dubai where she worked for numerous well-known international hotel chains, managing personnel departments and recruiting top executives for hotel pre-openings or already well established properties at the market.
According to Magdalani: “InterContinental Hotels Group considers both customer satisfaction and human resources as top priorities. We know that when we take care of our colleagues, they take care of our customers. In my new position as Director of Human Resources, I look forward to working with our associates so we can continue to fulfill our mission of meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations as well as become a preferred employer.”
“I am very happy to have Angel Magdalani as part of our pre-opening team. She has both vast regional experience and high levels of enthusiasm which are going to be required when recruiting over 1400 employees to our new team” added Tom Meyer, Area General Manager for InterContinental Hotels Group, Dubai Festival City.
