All Nippon Airways may make a decision on the launch of a discount airline before the end of the current fiscal year in March 2007, President Mineo Yamamoto indicated Wednesday. A decision should be made no later than around September 2007, according to Yamamoto, who was interviewed by Jiji Press and other media organizations in Everett, Washington.

He said ANA needs to decide on the launch of a discount airline more than one and a half year before the beginning of 2009, when competition in the airline industry is seen to intensify further.
