Korean Air told Xinhua news wire it has launched a thrice-weekly service between Incheon and Hakodate in Hokkaido, northern Japan. The carrier said it will operate B737-800 aircraft on the route, starting from June 1.

Including the Hakodate operations, Korean Air now serves 14 Japanese cities, it said.
