Gohop, PlacesToStay ink deal

FEXCO AllTravel have revealed that thousands of travellers who use Irish online travel
site Gohop.com every day will have a wider choice of hotel accommodation,
thanks to the site’s inventory agreement with FEXCO’s PlacesToStay hotel
reservation programme.PlacesToStay provides
travel trade distributors and consolidators real-time booking capabilities
with over 25,000 hotel properties offering attractive rates and commission
payment.

With over 4,000 daily Irish users generating average revenues of €250,000 a
week, Dublin-based Gohop offers a wide and growing range of online travel
products and services, such as flights, car rental, hotels and over 850,000
package holiday options. These help independent as well as business
travellers make informed decisions about cost-effective travel buying.

 

Sophisticated fare search technology provided by Openjaw, whose booking
engine also powers the site, helps Gohop to offer the lowest fares on
airlines flying out of Ireland. Other online facilities include detailed
destination information on nearly 300 cities, restaurant and activity
information, currency exchange, and travel tips.
