Gulf Air is to increase its daily service from London Heathrow to Muscat from the end of March. The airline will operate two daily direct flights from London Heathrow every day except Thursdays. The increased services will begin on 27th March 2006.

“Oman is booming. We have seen a strong increase in traffic since we launched this route in June 2004. This latest increase is in response to increased demand from passengers travelling between the UK and Oman, contributing to the substantial growth that Oman is experiencing across its business and tourism sectors,” says Gulf Air General Manager, UK Clive Wratten.

The recent opening of the new Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa has added to demand from passengers travelling to the Sultanate of Oman for holidays and on business.
