LAN expands Airpass

LAN Airlines
has introduced a comprehensive new airpass for travel throughout South America, using its airline operations within Chile, Ecuador, Peru and now Argentina to accommodate soaring tourism to the region.
The new LAN Visit South America Airpass offers a wide range of options within and between the countries of South America, and also includes flights on the popular route between between Easter Island and Santiago.

Priced from just US$85 plus tax for a one way sector, the LAN Airpass is valid for travel from now until 31 December, 2006, for a maximum stay of six months.

“This airpass provides a vast network and great flexibility for the growing number of visitors to South America,” said Lars Olofsson, National Sales Manager for LAN’s Australian representative, World Aviation Systems.

“The countries of South America are experiencing enormous growth in tourism from around the world, including Australia, and from 5 November LAN will increase from four to five weekly Airbus A340 flights between Sydney and Santiago,” he said.
