Nakheel, the UAE’s premier property developer, has announced the appointment of Hamza Mustafa as General Manager of The World. Born in Dubai, Hamza joined Nakheel in October 2002 and has played a key role in the company’s growth into one of the world’s most prestigious property developers; he has been instrumental in the sale of many properties across the organisation’s portfolio of projects and has travelled the world effortlessly promoting Dubai and Nakheel to both the public and the media.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Hamza will have complete responsibility for the project which features 300 man-made islands strategically positioned to form the shape of the world map, lying four kilometres off the coast of Dubai. A one-of-a-kind, master planned, secluded and exclusive island community, The World will be home to the most selective clientele and features a community of homes, apartments, resorts, restaurants and retail in a marine wonderland of beaches, boating and leisure. Heading up a highly skilled and experienced team, Hamza’s role will include driving and managing design and sales, and delivery to end users and developers.
