Best Western Spreads Holiday Cheer

The world’s largest hotel chain makes
giving just as fun as receiving this holiday season with a special offer
featuring the Best Western Travel Card. Now through December 31, 2004, customers will be given a 10 percent
discount on all Travel Card purchases of $50 USD ($65 Canadian) or more,
along with free standard shipping on all orders. For shoppers, that means
a minimum savings of nearly $8 when giving the gift of travel.

“Whether for family, friends or colleagues, the Best Western Travel Card
is a perfect way to show you care this holiday season,” said Dorothy
Dowling, senior vice president of marketing for Best Western. “Consumers
can now give everyone on their list the added convenience, security and
versatility that the card brings to life on the road—while presenting
themselves with great savings.”

Used by guests to pay for both accommodations and related incidentals,
such as room service and phone charges*, the Best Western Travel Card is
accepted at more than 4,100 Best Western hotels worldwide. It is offered
in any denomination between $25 and $1,000 USD (or Canadian equivalent).
Currently, there is nearly $10 million worth of Best Western Travel Cards
in the marketplace.

The Travel Card is delivered to recipients in a distinctive gift holder,
and, at the request of the purchaser, is accompanied by a personal
message. However, for those caught in the last-minute shopping rush, a
virtual card can also be ordered and sent via the Internet.

To receive this special offer, customers must purchase their Best Western
Travel Card(s) online at http://www.travelcard.bestwestern.com/ by
selecting the “Holiday Special” tab. The discount applies to purchases
made in US and Canadian dollars only, and is based on the loaded value of
the card. For those customers selecting overnight and other express
mailing options, regular charges will be assessed.
