Cendant TDS and Best Western Establish Global Alliance

International today announced that they have entered into a multi-year distribution and services agreement. The deal provides Best Western properties around the world with access to Cendant TDS’ full suite of distribution products and services. This new partnership will enhance the hotel company’s efficiency and profitability through expanded distribution, while providing consumers with expanded access to Best Western properties through both online and traditional agency channels.

Cendant TDS is working with Best Western to automate the online reservation process for net rate booking.Ê The agreement will provide participating Best Western hotels exposure across Cendant TDS’ various distribution channels including CheapTickets® and Lodging.com, in addition to providing rates to users ofÊNEAT’s dynamic packaging engine, which enables consumers to customize their own vacation package from a broad selection of air, car and hotel inventory.Ê Best Western, with more than 4,100 hotels in its network, will also provide Cendant TDS with rates for its Galileo Web!Hotels program, which provides Internet-rate hotel inventory to Galileo-connected travel agents throughout North America.

Through this relationship, Best Western will broaden its distribution reach and market its rooms at specially negotiated rates to the millions of customers accessing TDS’ global channels, including the network of 6,500 global affiliates through Lodging.com.Ê In turn, TDS will provide its customers with greater access to rooms at Best Western’s properties worldwide.Ê
