Spirit Airlines, a leading low-fare airline, starts service today from Fort Lauderdale to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with connecting service from Atlantic City, Cancun, Mexico, Chicago/O’Hare, Detroit, NY/LaGuardia, Providence, and Washington, D.C./Reagan National.
