La Cabana appoints Marc Giesbers as food and beverage director

La Cabana All Suite Beach Resort & Casino in Aruba has named Marc Giesbers as the property’s new food and beverage director. Giesbers intends to further enhance La Cabana’s food and beverage offerings by adding more diversity, improving menus, and injecting his own brand of creativity and enthusiasm into the dining experience.Ê

ÊGiesbers brings more than a decade of gastronomic, global experience to La Cabana and its numerous food and beverage outlets.

Giesbers got his first ‘taste’ of cooking alongside his grandmother when he was about 8 years old growing up in Limburg in the southern part of Holland.

As a teenager, he started as many great chefs do washing pots and pans in a restaurant before enrolling in the Culinary School in Limburg.Ê From that point, his career spiraled upward, cooking for various well-known Michelin Star restaurants, small resorts, large hotels and even a pancake establishment.Ê
