Monaco to Host European Spa Exhibition

The Principality of Monaco is to host a new event next year, The European Spa Exhibition, taking place at the Grimaldi Forum, 22nd-24th January 2005 and forecast to be a major attraction for professionals in luxury tourism. The European Spa Exhibition is a business-to-business forum aimed at promoting an exchange of information for professionals in the beauty and hotel sectors - both of which focus on the philosophy of relaxation, beauty and well-being.

The exhibition will be divided into four key areas or ‘villages’, which have been identified as necessary for any spa to excel.  The first is Design and Decoration; second is Hydrotherapy; the third is Beauty and Well-Being and the fourth Cosmetic.

Participants will have the opportunity to discover new products available in the market place and the ‘villages’ will provide a platform for professionals to discuss ideas and find solutions in this ever expanding and evolving market.

To complement the exhibition, a conference programme is planned, which will cover a number of topical issues and provide further information about many aspects of the spa industry.

Monaco itself is one of the spa capitals of Europe, with its very own spa, Les Thermes Marins de Monte Carlo, which combines the ancient traditions of the classic spa with the latest in marine therapy.  In addition, the newly renovated Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo will feature a spa by E’SPA, scheduled for completion at the end of 2004 and the luxury boutique hotel Le Port Palace is home to the first and only Clé de Peau Beauté Institute in the West outside Japan.
