The Wingate Inn hotel chain has been ranked first in its class and the third-best overall hotel brand in North America in the 2004 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study. This top accolade is particularly highly prized since it has been awarded by J. D Power and Associates, one of the USA’s most trusted sources of consumer research and rankings.Wingate is ranked highest in the mid-priced, limited-service category, leading the field against strong contenders including Marriott’s Springhill Suites, Carlson’s Country Inns & Suites, Hilton’s Hampton Inn and InterContinental’s Holiday Inn Express brands. Wingate Inn also achieved the third-highest overall score across all segments, following luxury brands Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and The Ritz-Carlton.
