Jet2 introduces new ski based website

In the midst of the summer, low cost airline Jet2.com today launched a ski website for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts across the region. The airline has developed the site, www.jet2.com/ski, to meet the growing demand for information about its three winter ski destinations from Leeds Bradford.
Jet2.com will fly 8 times a week to the ski haven of Geneva (from £24 inc taxes). In addition the low cost airline will fly daily to Barcelona for Andorra (from £31 inc taxes) and 4 times each week to Venice for the Dolomites, allowing frequent access to the slopes for long or short breaks away.

The dedicated site will grow to contain a wealth of information, such as where to pick up skiing and boarding equipment, low cost flexible accommodation options, guides to the best resorts and which places are best for different levels of skiing expertise.

Philip Meeson, boss of Jet2.com, said:

“This year we’re giving people in the region the chance to access three fantastic skiing and boarding destinations direct from their local airport - all at our usual low cost prices.

“We recognise that, when given the opportunity at low prices, people from the region relish the chance to hit the slopes not only for their main holiday, but also for many short breaks throughout the winter.

“The Italian Dolomites and Andorra are less than 1? hours’ drive time from Venice and Barcelona airports, while our great value Geneva route offers daily access to the likes of St Moritz and Verbier in Switzerland, as well as other top resorts such as Chamonix, Val D’Isere, Les Arcs and Courchevel.

“Our site will make it easier for skiers and boarders alike to plan and book affordable ski packages from the region.”
