Ana Mandara Resort & Spa Benefits from New Airport Service to Nha Trang

The introduction of Cam Ranh Airport for flights serving Vietnam’s beach resort city of Nha Trang offers guests of Ana Mandara Resort & Spa more travel options with increased flight frequency and a runway that caters to larger airplanes. In celebration of the birthday of Ho Chi Minh on May 19, the facilities at Cam Ranh Airport have been upgraded for civilian use. It had been used by the military since the nation’s Independence in 1975.

Ana Mandara Resort has outfitted several small busses to provide the complimentary 34 km (21 mile) transfer from Cam Ranh to the resort, ensuring that the journey reflects the comfort and level of service enjoyed by guests during their stay. A private limousine transfer option will be introduced soon with a vehicle charge of US$40 round-trip for up to four guests.

Initially, Cam Ranh Airport will handle domestic flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Da Nang, where travelers will complete immigration procedures before completing their trip with Vietnam Airlines. On arrival at Cam Ranh Airport, Ana Mandara Resort hosts will greet guests and arrange for accompanying luggage to be transferred to their bus.

With the inauguration of Cam Ranh Airport, Nha Trang’s mid-town airport will cease operation for all traffic - civilian and military, thus eliminating any disturbances that its location brought.

Increased frequency and seat capacity offered by Cam Ranh Airport is also a positive factor for the upcoming Evason Hideaway & Spa at Ana Mandara, due to open in November 2004. It is a 15-minute boat ride across the sea from Ana Mandara Resort and features 66 pool villas on beautiful Ninh Van Bay. Each villa at the Evason Hideaway has its own swimming pool. And as with Ana Mandara, the Evason Hideaway includes an award-winning Six Senses Spa.
