Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa, the group’s flagship Dubai property, has taken three awards at the inaugural MENA Travel Awards, held during Arabian Travel Market.The resort won the Platinum award for best five-star leisure hotel, as well as taking Gold awards for best spa, and best environmental five-star hotel.

Votes were submitted by each of the nominated property’s guests, as well as travel trade professionals, by performance against specified criteria.

Le Royal Meridien is currently celebrating a Decade of Excellence with a handful of industry awards, starting with the World Travel Award for Leading Resort in the Middle East and leading spa in the Middle East from Conde Nast Traveller, the UK-based travel magazine.

The hotel has again been voted Le Méridien’s top performer in the world for guest satisfaction and number one in the group worldwide for food and beverage, as monitored by global consultants, J D Powers. Le Royal Meridien has now been in poll position for the last 18 months.
