Air France Announces Special D-Day Fares

In commemoration of the 60th anniversary
of D-Day, Air France is offering U.S. veterans, and members of their
immediate family who accompany them, a special fare between the airline’s
U.S. gateways and Paris.
Any veteran born before January 1, 1930, who wishes to observe this
historic occasion in France between June 1, 2004 and August 31, 2004 is
eligible for this special offer. The special fares are available from the
following Air France gateways:

  Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Miami,
  New York City (JFK and Newark),
  Philadelphia and Washington D.C.            $504.00

  Chicago and Houston                     $604.00

  Los Angeles and San Francisco             $704.00

For the purpose of this offer, immediate family includes a spouse, child,
son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchild or great-grandchild. Veterans who
wish to take advantage of this special offer can call the dedicated Air
France D-Day promotion desk at (800) 423-7422.

Tickets at these special rates must be purchased at least three days after
reservation is made, but no later than May 31, 2004 for travel commencing
June 1, 2004 through August 31, 2004 (travel must be complete on or before
September 15, 2004). There are no blackout dates. Itineraries must include
a Saturday night stay with a maximum stay of 30 days. Travel must
originate in the U.S. and is valid only on Air France-operated flights.
Stopovers are not permitted.

Tickets are non-refundable. Changes are permitted at a fee of $200. Fare
is subject to limited availability and may be changed or withdrawn without
