Amadeus announced today the appointment of Bill Barnes as the Head of the new Amadeus UK Tours Group.

During the last 3 years Bill has been Business Development Manager with Amadeus UK and has been key in analysing the market on its leisure distribution potentials.  He is now looking forward to the implementation of these plans to establish a new distribution platform for leisure travel services in the UK. 

 

Bill’s role illustrates Amadeus’ commitment to growing its Leisure Travel distribution business in the UK - following its success in the German and other European markets. The recently announced partnership with Comtec is a key component in this process.

 

Within his new role Bill will be working closely with Comtec and other industry players to establish a cohesive plan which will enable the delivery of a comprehensive range of modern and functionally rich products and services to all sectors of the Leisure Travel Industry.
