Jan Hurdman formerly National Sales Manager has been promoted to UK Sales Manager. Since joining Elemis in 2000 as a Regional Business Manager, “Jan has excelled in the areas of leadership” commented Nicola Stott, Director of Sales. “Her hard work, dedication and commitment to achieving results have helped to create a strong and influential sales team and we are thrilled that Jan has accepted this immensely important role. Coming from a business background, Jan initially worked in investment and insurance, but decided that she wanted to change her career path. With a passion for beauty, Jan enrolled at college in 1994 and embarked on a course in Beauty Therapy. After gaining her diploma she returned to college to further her studies and gained an ITEC diploma in Advanced Aromatherapy.
Fresh out of college, initially Jan worked in a salon and then began her new career in sales as a Regional Business Manager with another product provider where she stayed for 2 years. In September 2000, Jan joined Elemis and in April 2002 was promoted to Key Account Manager responsible for the overseeing and development of the Cannons Group.
In December 2002 due to the phenomenal growth of the company, Jan was appointed to National Sales Manager overseeing the Northern Sales Team and the development of accounts. In January 2004 Jan was promoted to UK Sales Manager responsible for new initiatives and for the development of the UK Sales Team and UK Accounts as well as achieving company targets - working in conjunction with all other divisions to achieve these results.
