Sprint and Hawaiian Airlines Launch Partnership

Sprint and Hawaiian Airlines have announced a new partnership to offer HawaiianMiles members the opportunity to earn up to 6,000 bonus miles for choosing Sprint for residential long-distance service. Sprint will be the exclusive long-distance communications partner for HawaiianMiles, Hawaiian Airlines’ frequent-flier program. “The relationship with Hawaiian Airlines promises to be a great one as Sprint continues to focus on attracting and maintaining customer relationships by bundling appealing products that are valued by our customers,” said Nonie Toledo, vice president and general manager for Sprint Hawaii.

“By forming a partnership with Sprint, we’re giving our customers the ability to earn miles from a well-respected communications company,” said Richard J. Peterson, senior director of e-business and marketing programs, Hawaiian Airlines. “We believe that this agreement will give our loyal customers an added incentive to do business with a company that they already know and trust.”

To encourage customers to take advantage of this new partnership, Sprint will offer HawaiianMiles members the opportunity to earn 5,000 bonus miles. These miles will be awarded over the course of six months when members sign up for one of the select Sprint 7 Cents per minute long-distance products. In addition, if customers choose to sign up online they will receive an additional 1,000 bonus miles. Once choosing Sprint in the HawaiianMiles program, customers will earn five miles for every dollar they spend with Sprint on residential long-distance services (excluding taxes, fees and surcharges). The Sprint 7 Cents per minute products are for domestic calling only. International calling rates will vary.
