New spa unmatched in design, services and surroundings offers guestå‘s traditional spa modalities and wellness treatments as well as cosmetic services.
Hyatt Grand Champions Resort & Spa state-of-the-art ultra-luxurious 30,000 square foot Agua Serena Spa, offers guests an intimate oasis like no other in the desert. The new 30,000 square foot spa is offering the Agua Serena signature treatment.
This signature aromatherapy treatment includes a 50-minute therapeutic desert stone massage. Using various techniques and essential oils, warm stones are strategically placed to relax the body at its deepest level designed to heighten an overall sense of balance and inner peace.
“This floating paradise is like no other spa in the Palm Springs area,” said Bruce Taylor, Spa Director. “We have incorporated some unique elements into the design of the facility, and are providing not only innovative rejuvenation treatments, but also anti-aging and cosmetic treatments.”
As a landmark facility offering guests revolutionary combinations of health and beauty, Agua Serena Spa offers guests traditional as well as progressive spa treatments, a significant portfolio of cosmetic services, and fitness and health classes and retreats.
Agua Serena Spa features 18 treatment rooms all with terraces, and of which eight include refreshing outdoor showers. Treatments range from traditional massages, facials and body wraps and scrubs, to progressive therapeutic services such as hot stone therapy, Shiatsu, Thai massage, reflexology and aromatherapy.
Agua Serena is staffed with exceptional massage therapists, estheticians, nutritionists, fitness consultants, personal trainers, and a medical director to oversee the cosmetic services.
The spa also offers Swiss showers, saunas, steam rooms, fitness facilities, exercise classes, a juice bar, a bridal changing room, a his and hers salon, soothing outdoor garden relaxation areas, and a fresh herb garden complimenting the grounds.

The spa`s signature scent is a combination of grapefruit and sage, with spa products being offered through the spa`s gift shop.
The extensive portfolio of classes and activities available through the spa are designed with a holistic approach to good health. A variety of yoga classes as well as Pilates, step-aerobics, cardio combat, Tai Chi, Chi Gong, water aerobics, and abdominal shaping classes provide a well-rounded fitness program.
The fitness facilities include state-of-the-art weight machines, treadmills, cross-trainers, bikes and a stair stepper. Personal trainers are available for guests to obtain one-on-one training and to learn more specifically about customized programs to fit their personal needs.
Most notably, the spa offers customized skin health treatments not traditionally found among spas. The medi-spa portion of Agua Serena is overseen by an on-staff medical director. The anti-aging and cosmetic services offered are designed to produce noticeable and permanent improvements in one`s skin health with cellular regeneration, pharmaceutical skin restoration, laser treatments, microdermabrasion, cosmetic facials and rejuvenating body peels.
The Agua Serena Spa is part of the $65 million expansion undertaken by Hyatt Grand Champions Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California. In addition to the new spa, the expansion will also result in 479 guest rooms and a total of 88,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
