The good and the great of the British spa business press were unleashed from their laptops last week to enjoy a day at Royal Ascot courtesy of Dalesauna

Key professionals from leading business-to-business titles were in attendance, pictured L-R :

Jan Lea - Sales Director of Health Club Management. Debra Woomble - Director of In-spa-ration. Toby Filby - Publisher of Building for Leisure and Sports Industry Magazines. Other race-goers included Kati Carter, Editor of Professional Spa Magazine and members of the health and fitness industry.

The group gathered together as guests of Dalesauna, the UK’s largest supplier of saunas and spa equipment, to enjoy a day at the races, needless to say, the topic of conversation centered more on spa developments across the globe than winners on the Ascot racecourse.

“You have to do something pretty special to get these people together,” said McCarthy. “The spa industry is motivational mix of relaxation, sport, leisure and communication - so a day at the races is the perfect way to do business.”

Spas Weekly’s Editor, Hellena Barnes added, “The sun shone, the champagne flowed and it was an excellent opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues and discuss the latest happenings in spa market”.
