Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. (AMEX and PCX: HA), today announced that John Monahan has resigned his position as Trustee for personal reasons that require his full attention. Monahan has informed Hawaiian Airlines that the U.S. Trustee’s office is in the process of selecting a replacement trustee, and that he will be available to work with a new trustee to facilitate a smooth transition.
“I have enjoyed my brief association with the people of Hawaiian Airlines and will miss the opportunity to be a part of what I’m confident will be a successful reorganization of the airline,” Monahan said.

Monahan was appointed May 30, 2003 by the U.S. Trustee’s office and approved by the Bankruptcy Court to oversee Hawaiian Airlines during its Chapter 11 reorganization.
