Sandals Donates $2 Million in Vacations to US Military Personnel

Sandals and Beaches Resorts, the Caribbeanå‘s leading ultra all-inclusive resort and spa group, has announced that it will give $2 million dollars worth of complimentary four-day/three-night vacations directly to active members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

In a unique support initiative, aptly entitled “Operation Relax”, military personnel currently serving can apply for a complimentary stay at exclusive Sandals and Beaches Resorts as $1 million is donated through travel agent bookings. When guests staying at any one of the 17 Sandals and Beaches Resorts book a six night stay in a premium category or higher, Sandals will donate a free vacation to travel agents to give to a U.S. military service person from within their local community.

Sandals is a collection of the most idyllic resorts on earth, located in four of the Caribbean’s most exotic islands: Jamaica, Antigua, St. Lucia, and the Bahamas. Inspired by a passion for pampering, the Sandals signature blends the best of Europe with the exotic offerings of the Caribbean and has created six superb full-service spas at some of its world-celebrated destinations.

Consumers can call their travel agent to join Operation Relax, a first-come first-served programme which ends August 9, 2003.
