De Vere forms Alliance with US Hotels Group

De Vere Group plc has announced a sales and marketing alliance between De Vere Hotels and Destination Hotels & Resorts (DH&R) of Englewood, Colorado.

Both De Vere Hotels and DH&R operate portfolios with very similar business models and market positions. The alliance will provide each company`s customer base with a much wider choice of destinations with products of a similar standing thereby leveraging sales opportunities off each other.

With the success of the Ryder Cup, held at The De Vere Belfry, the Company has been seeking opportunities to raise the profile of the De Vere brand globally, and the alliance with Destination Resorts & Hotels enables it to leverage the brand in the important North American market.

This partnership will be based on the cross-marketing of each other`s properties through reciprocal distribution of collateral materials, website links, shared trade show representation, exchanged customer lists, cooperative public relations opportunities and sharing of sales and marketing best practices.
Both sales forces will be able to cross-sell via a lead referral programme; especially with meetings and conventions since both companies` portfolios have many properties with state-of-the-art meeting facilities.
