Livingwell To Open Multi-Million Pound Club In Luton

LivingWell, one of the UK’s largest health club operators, is set to open a £3.5 million health club in Luton in June 2002, creating over 50 new jobs locally.

Situated in Regent Street, the club will stretch over 31,000 square feet, featuring a cardiovascular gymnasium fitted with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, swimming pool, free weights area and two spacious aerobics studios.

Qualified instructors will be on hand to give individual fitness advice, and to lead a varied programme of exercise classes, ranging from traditional aerobics to Tai Chi and Yoga.

As part of LivingWell’s holistic approach to health and fitness, members will be able to wind down in one of two saunas, steam rooms and spa pools. Both members and non-members will be able to enjoy pampering treatments in The Sensory, LivingWell’s unique hair and beauty concept.

This will include 4 treatment rooms, 2 sunbed rooms, a hair salon and a relaxation room. Members will also be able to relax and unwind in their very own members lounge. A range of fashionable and practical sportswear will be available in the club’s Pro shop.
