Internet sales week ending 13 February 2000

easyJet sold 60,577 seats online during the week ending 13 February 2000, which represented 46.6% of all seats sold during that period.

Up until two weeks ago, Summer 2000 flights were only available to book online. Now that these seats are also available to book over the telephone, the proportion of Internet sales has decreased slightly. However, the ratio of online bookings is now significantly greater than before the Summer seats were launched on the Internet, indicating that the airline has achieved yet another step change in the level of online sales during normal trading conditions.
