Days Inns Wins More HSMAI Awards Than Any Other Lodging Chain

Days Inns of America Inc. recently won top honors among lodging chains with 29 awards during the 10th Annual Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association Internationals (HSMAI) competition.

With 28 Adrian Awards for advertising and 1 Golden Bell Award for public relations, Days Inns exemplified how powerful an influence both fields provide for successful marketing in the travel industry.

Awards won included 3 gold, 7 silver and 19 bronze, in the category of Chains, Affiliated Groups or Franchise Systems. The winning entries honored included Days Inns There You Go ad campaign; a family reunion essay contest for African Americans; and the reintroduction of the Days Inns web site,

The HSMAIs Adrian and Golden Bell Awards competition is the largest, most prestigious, event of its kind in the travel industry. This years competition drew over 1,800 entries from more than 55 countries across the globe.
