It has emerged that Australia`s Qantas Airways has been suffering problems on their web site.
The Amadeus booking engine has been causing the Qantas system to show erroneous flight availability over the last couple of days; a similar problem happened last week.
Meanwhile Qantas Box Office, the preferential booking service for Qantas customers, is now on-line, selling tickets to a variety of activities including theatre, concerts and sporting events, as well as soft adventure events such as Sydney`s popular BridgeClimb.
Qantas Frequent Flyers earn Frequent Flyer points as they book, at the rate of one point for each dollar spent in addition to points earned from credit card programmes.
British Airways experienced check-in delays when bookings disappeared from their system after an upgrade on the 13th March.
