, the joint internet venture between Accor, The Forte Hotel Group and Hilton International announced last year, and subsequently approved by the EC, will launch the first release of its web-based hotel reservation system at ITB Berlin today.
The first phase will launch with 4,000 properties drawn from the founding partners’ portfolios, together with a further 50,000 accessible via Amadeus. The site is designed to provide business travellers with an information rich, web-based room booking tool.
Subsequent phases will see the site develop into a comprehensive integrated booking solution including third party room stock, flights, car hire and other complementary services to provide a “self booking tool” primarily aimed at the SME (small and medium sized enterprises) market.
Further hotel partnership announcements are imminent.
The site, which andbook.com will be demonstrating on their stand at ITB (Stand 7.1a/01) will launch in English, French and German.
