easyJet online sales continue to show sustained growth

easyJet continues to live up to its reputation as “the web’s favourite airline” with another impressive week of Internet sales. During the week ending 11 June, easyJet sold 87,482 seats online, which accounted for 71.5% of all sales over that period.

As easyJet successfully pursues its strategy of encouraging passengers to book online, the airline’s Internet sales continue to show steady growth. A comparison with last year’s figures illustrates this - in June 1999, just over 30% of all seats were sold via the easyJet web site, a figure that has now more than doubled.
