Continental Gets Big Exposure On AOL

AOL Time Warner and Continental Airlines have announced an extended cross-brand marketing alliance that will bring the airline wide promotion through a broad range of innovative online, offline and wireless initiatives across several AOL Time Warner properties.
The new agreement features expanded online promotion of Continental Airlines across several America Online brands; mobile ticketing and information through AOL Mobile; and print initiatives through Time Inc.`s ON Magazine. Under the new agreement, Continental Airlines will now be a premier partner and receive prominent promotion within the Travel Channels of several America Online brands, including AOL, CompuServe, Netscape.com and AOL Digital City.
In addition, Continental Airlines will also be available within the Travel Channel of AOL Mobile, part of America Online`s “AOL Anywhere” initiative. Using their Internet-ready wireless phones, AOL Mobile users will be able to easily access Continental`s WAP-enabled site.
The new agreement expands on a relationship Continental has had since with America Online since 1997, under which Continental is available in the Airline Center of AOL`s Travel Channel.
