Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) has been named to manage a 157-room upscale hotel at the corner of Park Lane and Oxford Street, opposite Hyde Park`s famous Speaker`s Corner, in 2001.
Owned by joint venture partners Marylebone Warwick Balfour Group Plc and Hong Kong-based Sincere Group, the London Marriott Park Lane Hotel will be developed within an existing historic landmark building at 140 Park Lane. When opened, it will be part of a mixed-use development that will also include retail and luxury residential space. The new Heathrow Express Rail Link is a five-minute drive away.

For dining and entertainment, the London Marriott Park Lane will have a casual restaurant and a lobby lounge serving continental breakfast and light meals.
Recreational amenities will include a fitness center and indoor swimming pool. Other amenities will be a business center, an executive lounge, 24-hour room service, in-room mini-bars, valet service, gift shop and limited parking space.
For conferences and social events, the London Marriott Park Lane will have four individual rooms offering 2,600 square meters of function space.
