Clickthebutton, a maker of price comparison technology has launched a new service that allows people to quickly obtain price comparisons on airfares while they are browsing leading travel and airline sites.
Clickthebutton users who go to leading travel sites and search for airfare will now be offered price comparisons on the same and similar air travel during the flight selection process.
Existing users do not need to download a new version of Clickthebutton in order to use the service. Clickthebutton has been installed more than four million times in the last four months.
Clickthebutton`s shopping tool `pops up` when a consumer is about to buy a product in an online store and offers a list of competitive pricing, sales tax and shipping information from other merchants selling the exact same product. The company is able to identify exact products because it builds and maintains Perpetual Data, a proprietary database of the leading products for sale on the Web and all the places they are available.
