New Developments At Eurovacations.Com Make Planning And Booking Customized European Vacations Faster

Just when travelers are ready to make plans for their 2001 trip to Europe, the only Web site offering the capability of researching, planning and booking individual or all components of a customized European vacation, as well as off-the-shelf packages for independent travelers, EuroVacations.com
, has revamped its homepage to make the unique site easier to use.
Selected by Travelocity in late 2000 to power that site’s European Destination engine, EuroVacations.com also recently announced a guarantee to match the lowest price for any similar vacation package available online.
Last week, BBBOnLine, a subsidiary of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, announced that after reviewing EuroVacations.com`s privacy policy and practices, it has granted the site the BBBOnline Privacy Seal.
“No other site gives users the value, flexibility, wealth of information, and one-click ease and speed of immediately confirming availability and price of those travel services specifically needed for a customized European vacation to the top 94 destinations,” explains Bernard Frelat, President and CEO of EuroVacations.com. “The new homepage is in response to user feedback and part of our on-going effort to make the site even easier, faster and better than ever.”
EuroVacations.com is also continually adding new cities, destinations, suggested itineraries, hotels and other services that can be included in a customized vacation plan. The site currently offers more than 1200 hotels, 200-plus customizable Vacation Plans (one or multi-city itineraries), all major airlines, three car rental companies, railpasses and rail tickets for travel throughout Europe and the UK, and other travel services, such as theater tickets and museum passes, all from reliable, quality suppliers. The site also regularly features Great Value Plans—packages for major cities at exceptionally good prices.
Users simply select an existing Vacation Plan to customize or they start by looking for ideas in the extensive Destination Guide and entering departure city, arrival city, next city, desired type of hotel, number of nights in each city, etc. The site begins building a customized, cohesive itinerary, which is automatically stored in the user’s Cybersuitcase for future planning sessions, or with one click, availability, reservations and price for the entire package can be confirmed.
The new homepage features a user-friendly task-oriented layout, in contrast to the previous graphics-oriented design. Also, users now have immediate access to planning and booking functions and easy one-step registration. There are also links to travel community sites on the new homepage to share experiences, get special tips and chat on specific destinations and topics (currently three communities are up, We Love Paris, We Love London and We Love France, with more on the way).
