E-Travel Holiday Success

Online travel reservations captured 21% of the $12.2 billion total in e-sales for November and December 2000 in North America, according to the latest report by the marketing and information company, The NPD Group.
$2,551 million were spent on travel with the Travelocity.com web site ranking 8th in the list of where consumers said they had spent the most money.
The NPD e-Commerce 2001 Consumers Speak Out e-Visory report was based on a study of 2,439 Internet users.
