For the eleventh year in a row, British Midland swept aside the competition last night to win Best UK Domestic Airline.
Upon receipt of the award, John Morgan, director sales & marketing said:
Repeated recognition from the trade that we are providing the best possible service to our customers on domestic routes is a fantastic way to start the year. We were up against fresh competition this year, which obviously means we are particularly pleased to have won.
The Award also signifies the continued commitment we have to our key domestic services as our impending transatlantic launch dates get ever closer. We can assure customers that the service standards we have set domestically will be both incorporated and surpassed on our Washington and Chicago routes from Manchester.
Held at the Grosvenor House in London, British Midland received the Golden Globe Award from Travel Weekly.
