Two Historic Hotels of America incorporate iHotelier’s Online Technology

Who says that you canå‘t teach an old dog new tricks? Hotels are now slowly embracing the changes brought on by new technologies…
The Legendary Hotel Jerome, located in Aspen, CO, and The King & Prince Beach and Golf Resort, located in St. Simon’s Island, GA, both members of the Historic Hotels of America, incorporated integrated online marketing technologies onto their proprietary web sites to further their online bookings as well as their customer relationship management efforts.
Despite the hospitality industry’s slow acceptance to embrace new technologies, these historical hotels have optimized their traditional booking procedures by including the iHotelier online reservations engine, which also provides Internet marketing tools that help maximize their customer relationship.

“iHotelier makes a lot of sense for hotels of this caliber and storied past,” says iHotelier’s CEO, Rod Jimenez. “We are proud to count them as iHotelier clients and expect to have great success with their online promotions.”
Due to the iHotelier system’s value-added Internet services, comprised of a booking engine, inventory management, Internet marketing and Meeting Planner module, Historic Hotels are beginning to incorporate the premier online Marketing system into their hotel’s services, without losing their highly traditional services to their guests.
iHotelier’s capabilities, to be enhanced in its new 4.0 version to be released in January, provide these two Historic Hotels of America with a new way to market their hotel features and services. Now these hotels can take advantage of the benefits of in-depth Internet marketing, online hotel promotions, as well as raise the awareness of their proprietary web site.
