bmi, British Midland International, has announced a new codeshare deal with Air China on its UK and Ireland services from London Heathrow.

Effective immediately, Air China adds its CA code onto bmi services to and from London Heathrow to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Manchester, Belfast and Dublin.

Joerg Hennemann, chief commercial officer, bmi, commented: “This agreement further expands bmi’s codeshare network and offers major benefits for Air China customers wanting to connect at Heathrow to our domestic network.

“We are delighted to be working with Air China to offer their customers more global connectivity.”

The airline becomes the latest partner to add its code to bmi UK and Ireland flights, offering their customers travelling to and from the UK more choice and better interline possibilities.
