Audley launch new Galapagos brochure

Audley has launched a new Galapagos brochure, giving very detailed information on the various types of boats available as well as increased options for land-based tours of the islands.

Audley’s specialists have extensive first-hand knowledge of the Galapagos Islands. They have hand-picked and fully inspected every boat, lodge and hotel they use, all of which have excellent environmental credentials and top naturalist guides.

Audley offer options for expedition cruises, hotel stays, walking or island hopping tours from four days up to two weeks in the islands. The recent change in sailing schedules imposed by the Galapagos National Park has meant that shorter duration cruises are now much easier to organise - an excellent option for those looking to combine the Galapagos with other parts of Latin America. Convenient flight connections mean that Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama and Costa Rica are all easy add-ons and Audley suggest various itinerary options in the brochure.

There is also a selection of suggested Galapagos only itineraries with 11 day trips including a week on a boat or in a Galapagos hotel starting around £3,000 per person. As well as offering land-based holidays on Santa Cruz, Audley suggests some lodges on Floreana and Isabela islands as well as walking tours on Isabela.

Audley has seen an increase in the number of honeymooners travelling to the Galapagos, usually combined with other highlights of Latin America such as Machu Picchu or Angel Falls. In addition to arranging once in a lifetime trips for honeymooners they offer special family departures - with more focus on ‘child friendly’ activities - and departures for single travellers where there is no single supplement.
