Agoda.com, Asia’s leading hotel booking site and part of Nasdaq-listed Priceline Group, launched special rates at selected Taipei hotels for Computex Taipei 2012.

Staged this year from June 5 to 9, Computex Taipei is one of the world’s leading information and communication technology fairs and the largest in Asia. Held at the Taipei World Trade Center complex, the event draws buyers and exhibitors from around the globe with the latest in ICT products and symposiums on industry trends and topics. This year’s event is set to be bigger than ever, with a total of 1,800 exhibitors and 5,300 booths.

This year, tablets remain a key point of interest, with ultrabooks, cloud computing, green IT, and 3D technology also on the agenda. Smartphones will be featured in the themed area “Handheld Plus” and, as always, the Microsoft forum, scheduled for June 6, promises to be one of the expo’s most talked-about events.

Computex Taipei 2012 will be staged over five different venues within the World Trade Center, with a free shuttle between venues available to delegates. The World Trade Center is located in the cosmopolitan Xinyi District and is easily accessible via public transport: shuttle buses depart from Taipei Bus/Railway station or delegates can walk from Taipei City Hall MRT.
