Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, in partnership with World Energy, a carbon-net-zero solutions provider, operated the first net-zero* flight that is powered entirely by Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Book & Claim and direct emission reductions. The service was also the first transatlantic flight operated by Etihad to use contrail-reducing technology supplied by SATAVIA.
