The Guide includes an interactive map search facility that pinpoints attractions across the county. By zooming in on the map it is possible to see individual attractions, or to separate out ‘Places to Eat’; ‘Places to Visit’; ‘Shops’ and ‘Beaches’. The interactive guide also includes a ‘What’s On’ section that is updated daily, and a search bar that allows readers to pull up details on attractions across the county and create an itinerary for their stay.

Today, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) and Masabi US Ltd, the transit mobile ticketing pioneer, jointly announce that they will be bringing mobile ticketing to MBTA commuter rail riders this fall. With applications for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry, customers will be able to seamlessly purchase commuter rail tickets and passes.  Once tickets are purchased, customers will be able to use and display directly via their phone screen.

Largely only a trial offering today, wireless in-flight entertainment (IFE) is forecasted to reach a global install-base of nearly 9,000 aircraft by 2021, revolutionising how passengers are entertained, able to communicate outside of the plane, and manage their on-going travel, according to a new report by IMS Research, a leading independent supplier of market research and consultancy to the global electronics industry.
