New mind tourism technology to power the great Swedish nature

Supplier of e-tourism solutions, New Mind and their Swedish reseller, Avisita have secured a contract for a new project, The Great Swedish Nature.

The project will involve the development of a new website for the members of the organisation, powered by New Mind’s renowned e-tourism solution.

The Great Swedish Nature consists of 19 fishing camps, situated in Southern Sweden, offering personalised fishing breaks for children, families, anglers and groups. The camps are situated in beautiful rural settings and provide a total fishing experience including accommodation, trained personnel, rental boats and access to a diverse range of species.

The new solution will allow the organisation to raise its profile and promote its rich offering to a global audience.

Avisita signed up as a solution partner for New Mind in September last year. New Mind’s e-tourism solution represents a natural extension to Avisita’s existing services and their in-depth knowledge of the local tourism market provides access to new opportunities for New Mind in Sweden.

Andy Abram, Director of New Mind said, “We are very pleased that Avisita has successfully secured a second project in Sweden. It is obvious from the reaction to our products that there is a huge potential market for this type of solution in Scandinavia and something that both Avisita and New Mind are poised to capitalise on. We are very much looking forward to continuing the success story as more Swedish destinations come on board”.

This is the second contract in Sweden for New Mind and Avisita. Earlier in the year New Mind’s e-tourism solution and Avisita’s web development expertise were selected for the Destination Green Coast project.

The new Great Swedish Nature site is due to go live during Autumn 2012.
