PortAventura World is showcasing its longest and most sustainable Halloween celebration
The longest and most terrifying season in PortAventura World’s history, which will last for more than 50 days, is here with big new additions. From 24th September until 13th November, thrill-seekers will be able to visit 6 passages of terror, as well as a wide range of shows involving more than 200 artists with almost 200 hours of shows per week.
PortAventura World to install huge solar energy plant
PortAventura World is installing a photovoltaic power plant covering 100,000 metres squared, which will comprise of 22,000 modules that will supply energy to the whole resort. The project will launch in spring 2020 and will be the largest self-consumption photovoltaic plant in a European resort.
New chief commercial officer for PortAventura World Parks & Resort
PortAventura World Parks & Resort has welcomed Mark Robinson as its new chief commercial officer to strengthen the group’s position. Robinson has a considerable amount of experience within the tourism industry.
Ferrari Land opens at PortAventura, Spain
Ferrari Land, the third theme park at PortAventura World Parks & Resort, has opened its doors to the public for the first time after a grand opening ceremony. The opening ceremony saw 1,500 guests gather in the heart of the new park, opposite the Ferrari Experience attraction.
New sales leadership for PortAventura in UK
PortAventura World Parks & Resort has appointed Mark Hopper as the new sales director for UK & Ireland. He joins less than a month before the opening of PortAventura’s latest theme park, Ferrari Land.
