Carnival Corporation will launch four new cruise ships in 2020 across four of its global cruise line brands. On the slipway are Iona for P&O Cruises UK; Enchanted Princess for Princess Cruises; Mardi Gras for Carnival Cruise Line; and Costa Firenze for Italian brand Costa Cruises.

A key stage in the construction of Britain’s newest and most contemporary cruise ship has been marked at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg. The team building P&O Cruises 180,000-ton ship, Iona, which will be powered by liquefied natural gas, celebrated the milestone with the traditional coin-laying ceremony.

Construction work has begun to upgrade Ocean Cruise Terminal at the Port of Southampton, to support continued growth in the cruise sector. Representatives from ABP, Carnival UK and contractors, Graham, came together to mark the start of main construction work for this major investment at Ocean Terminal.
